I work with Specsavers in Northwich, and I just wondered if Weaver Valleys cycle group was participating in the Tour of Britain? The route of this year's tour passes through Northwich. http://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/stages/stage2/index.php#.U99PbONdX6Z
Specsavers in Northwich is hoping to do some PR activity around the event, one part of this is inviting those from local cyclist groups for a free eye test ahead of the event to raise awareness about cycling safely / looking after health when performing in sport.
As well as providing good PR for the store and the cyclist / cycle group, the store has many keen cyclists working for it, meaning its something they are all keen to support.
