How do you get 11 gears? Is that 2 on the front and 5.5 sprockets on the back??? 😕 Also are your fixed bikes digital or analogue? 😉

Fixed bikes are BINARY Dave!

And there's only 10 types of people. Those who understand binary, and those don't.

That Ultegra build is a good price Jim. Out of interest many of us rave about RS80 wheels, what would a deal be with those included?

or if your budget wont stretch that far, try one of these bad boys which are becoming very popular at the moment
you could even upgrade the wheels with the change 😆

carbon and 6800 ultegra

Hi Woody, with the RS81 wheels the Ultegra build would be £1745.

The Pklanet X bikes do seem good value till you break down the spec - cheap frames and forks, but that aside the Ultegra build only has RS11 wheels whereas my offer jumps up 4 levels to the proper Ultegra 6800 wheels. With the RS11 wheels our Ultegra bike is only £1495 and comes with proper branded bars, stem, seatpost and tyres as opposed to the cheap Chinese Planet X own name kit.

Plus our bikes have limitless options re crank length and gearing ratios at no extra cost and we will even get you measured up as opposed to the Planet X "oh you need medium sir!"

Sounds good to me Jim, you clearly know your onions. Now back to the 5.5 sprockets on the back end, will a half link chain get around the problem of the half sprocket? 😕 These multiple gear thingys are so confusing!

Oi Fearon! NOOOOOOOOOO - You will not persuade me to go fixed in any way! LOL

You know full well Shimano call it 11 speed!! 11 at the back and 2 at the front for the uninitiated!

Much love

Jim

On a side not do any of you lot ride cyclo cross with Campag? I only ask as I have one set of what seem to be quite rare Fulcrum 2014 Racing 7 CX wheels in Campag fitting.

It seems as a general rule these are very easy to get in Shimano but very hard to get in Campag.

I would do this odd pair I have for £144.95 to any of you lovely blue and yellow folk.

Any takers?

Jim
