Wanted – an event organiser! WVCC Open 2
I know that it is the end of the season, but we’re already looking at events for next year, and have pencilled in our open 25 mile time trial for 6th July 2019. This great, but we don’t currently have an event organiser, and we need to secure one so that we can run this […]
WVCC Open Hill Climb 2018
It was hill climb time on Sunday and time to see if all our preparations had worked. Being the first time I had organised an event there was more than a little bit of trepidation! I needn’t have worried at all, with all the help and […]
25 TT and Hill Climb – Volunteers Requir
Its that time of year again folks where we need your support in marshalling and helping out at our promoted TT events. This year the 25 TT and the Hill Climb are only a week apart. We are asking more of you to cover two dates so close together but we really need members to […]
Withington Wheelers 10 Mile TT – J2/1
Fantastic turnout today for the Withington Wheelers 10 mile TT on J2/1 in Chelford with eight WV riders representing the club. Guardian Cup / Scratch Competition Lates...
It’s hotting up with people swapping places as they build up their best 5 rides. Not many left now so make sure you don’t miss out if you want to dis-LODGE our Guardian Cup leader. Colin Carthy has been leapfrogged by Craig Lee who is satisfying his itch in the scratch competition. Only if you […]
Club 10 postponed this week
Never usually one to be swayed by popular opinion I am breaking the habit of a life time and postponing the club 10 this week despite the fact that it was to be the club championship race. It is clear from the many posts on Faceache that very few if anybody will turn up if […]
Club 10’s – Round 7 – 4th July 2018
Clearly, everyone is getting used to the warm, dry, near perfect conditions that we have been riding in lately, as the times are improving, week on week. A healthy field of 23 turned out and enjoyed the evening sun. Paul Connor did a flyer this week, looking good ahead of next week’s Warrington Road Club […]
