It appeared that the slight change in climatic conditions with sporadic heavy showers punctuating the sweltering heat, gave rise to what is sometimes deemed in time trialling terms as a ‘floater'(!) Perhaps perfect conditions for some excellent times. In some respects, it’s a shame that this wasn’t Guardian Cup round 5, as there would have been some impressive point scoring! Despite it being 2 up and tandems, there were only 2 – 2 ups, 1 – 3 up (practicing for the 4 up!!!), 1 tandem and the rest opting to go solo.
Here are the results from a top evening of speed!
|1||Jim Williams (tandem)||21:02|
|Dave Fearon (tandem)|
|3||Craig Lee (solo)||23:12|
|4||Ben Jones (solo)||24:02|
|5||Emily Jane Martin||24:43|
|6||Rich Munro (solo)||24:58|
|7||Steve Thomas (solo)||25:09|
|8||Dan Robson (solo)||25:12|
|9||Paul Conner (solo)||25:19|
|11||Andy Woolley (solo)||25:49|
|12||Nikki Cullis Wilding||27:18|
* A slightly shorter course was used this week due to some unexpected road works.
