No club runs today, but we did have a stand at Pedal Power this year again. A day of showers and not showers looked like it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the many sportive participants and the other stallholders, with all sorts of food, drink and stuff on display and for sale. Those who came back from the longest sportive looked well. When I say well, I’d say mud splattered – or as Steve so eloquently put it, ‘a bovine sun tan’. Nice. I didn’t take a photograph.
