Following our AGM, Dave Daynes is stepping down from his role as Club President after many years. As a club, we want to thank Dave for his time as President.
This left us without a President of our club, which is a role that we’ve always had.
It therefore seemed appropriate to propose that Ann Gregory be put forward as our new Club President.
This was seconded, and voted on unanimously.
Ann, for those who don’t know, is one of the founder members of our club, from it’s inception in 1962.
I can think of no better President for our club as we come to the end of our 60th year! It’s also the first time that we’ve had a female president.
I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating Ann as she assumes the role of President.
