Today’s long ride to Higher Kinnerton saw 7 of us set off in chilly, damp conditions. I initially had concerns about black ice but it warmed up and started raining a bit. We had a pretty uneventful and pleasant 30 miles to Walters cafe. My first time there & my feedback is; on a nice sunny day it would be great to go and sit outside and have a leisurely coffee. Today it wasn’t so great. Enough said. We came home via the Kinnerton steps and Holt before following the Saturday training ride route home. I was really pleased I made the effort to get out today!
