I drove out to the club this morning and arrived late which meant a rapid ride out to Hatchmere. I made pretty good time and arrived to see several rear lights disappearing in to the forest. I caught up with Carl, Geoff and Alex and the 4 of us were a good unit into the wind out to Bangor on Dee & from there mostly a tailwind, My legs were pretty poor after last night’s racing so I was glad of an easy pace. We had the regulation toast and something at Holt before the homeward leg. The weather today was good for January, not too cold and after being damp initially it dried up. My drivetrain is completely worn out & the spare parts can’t come soon enough! It would be great to see more out next week.
