Llandegla 21 November
Reading Time: < 1 minute
Negotiations with higher management have resulted in permissions to go out on Sunday rather than Saturday this weekend. Enjoy your trip.
Derek asked:
Does anyone want a lift?
Sounds good to me. I'm without car though, can I get a lift if anyone has space. If not no worries.
Would help if I said it was me. Thanks Ross
James & myself hope to make it.
Cheers, Andrew.
Great. I've still got room for one if Derek and Ross (the Weaverham pose less Matthew) are travelling together.
Derek said:
I am going to take Ross so that means that there is still a place with Nick.
See you there – ps. I am going to try and learn to jump so it should be fun to watch!
I'll set my video up!
and I'm bringing my first aid kit…
No first aid kit needed this time! Good to see 10 out on such a miserable morning, but it wasn't bad once the cloud lifted. First time at Llandegla for Richard,Dave and Jack F, the latter sporting his shiny new Trek and having no problem keeping up.
Pleased to see Jack C making a comeback after the Coed y Brenin fall and regular rides will soon get the fitness back. Dave's crank came loose, only to find the bolt had fallen out. Thank goodness Andy B had a spare. Karen did the red trail while the rest of us did the black which never fails to please.
After lunch Derek, Ross, Dave and Jack F and I did it again. Superb, even in the (by now) heavy rain. Only mishap was that in the space of a few minutes on the loop down from the bridge Jack punctured while Derek and I both broke our chains! Somehow we got separated and Derek and I headed back without the others, but we all arrived back at the centre eventually. Sorry for the mix-up guys. See you Thursday night at the Velodrome.
