Meet at the station cafe as usual at 10am to explore more of the forest singletrack. All abilities welcome. 2 hours or so then lunch back at the cafe. More for those who want it after lunch.
Picture shows Kev U, Jack and Kev C tackling the mud.
11 of a good range of abilties meant that we (nearly) all completed a full morning over lots of the best singletrack Delamere has to offer.
Dave from Winsford stuck it out, showing off his technical skill and Steve M managed the killer climb for the first time! Andy B was flying (he'd slipped in a bit of training on holiday).
Andrew and James made it to the top of Old Pale and everone took a turn at falling off. At least I did… too busy looking for the track ahead to notice the stump in front of me. See you all on Friday for the night ride.
Hi Nick. Can't make the night ride this time I'm afraid, but Delamere was great. I think I have made progress on the artistic impression, still some work to do on the technical merit though!!
I missed your forward roll triple loop Kev, but from what I heard the artistic impression scored 5.9! Technical merit is definately coming on too, so stick at it.
See you at the velodrome where those bike handling skills can also come in handy.
I forgot to say thanks to Kev U for bringing up the tail end on Saturday, no wonder he was so fresh going up Old Pale!
…and thanks to Kev and Elanor for showing us the single track alongside the Whitegate Way on the way back. I must say they were both going pretty quick along that as well!!
Jack and I are planning on being there, and maybe some of the post lunch stuff this time! Shall we meet at your house say 9:30 El/Kev??
Hi Kevin, yes that's fine, we've decided to put off going on holiday to fit a ride in – see you 9.30 at ours. Eleanor.
