Well done Jules on the attack - Jules went and dangled off the front for 1/2 a lap. Heroic stuff.
It was my first time on the bike for about 10 days and i could really tell. I was following Keith Jones and went with him when he attacked. The attack didn't work but in any case it was destroying me - my heart rate was up to 189 & i can't keep that up for very long!

I thoroughly enjoyed my race last night. I was happy to sit in the bunch and just experience riding at Oulton Park!!! Well done Alan and also to all the other wvcc riders! 😀

Well done to all of the racers last night and the great support. I reckon there were 13 Weaver Valley racers if we count James Risk (which I do) they were: Alan K, Nick B, Me, El, Carol, Richard M, Garry B, Chris Z, John K, Jules, Titch and Nigel. Special mention must go to Titch for his first race, Garry B for his first of the year (one of two he informs me) plus Alan K and El for winning their respective races.
It was also fantastic to see all the support both for the running and judging of the races and vocally during them.

What a great night. Nothing quite like the sound of all those wheels rolling along on smooth tarmac. Jed, didn't you do a sound recording once - I wonder if you could post it somewhere on here? i am thinking of mounti a go pro HD camera on my seat post for the next oulton park race as part of a project so should get a pretty acurate reading of noise form that and also how hectic the race is?
