This is a post to advertise a great opportunity for club members to help out with this exciting Time-trialling event.

Our very own Paul West - whom some of you know, is a British Cycling Track Coach, Events Development Officer - Cycle Speedway, Paracycling, Track, working at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester (the velodrome), and has organised this national event on our doorstep! Paul is just back from Glasgow, from the Commonwealth Games, and now has this task!

This is a prestigious National event in the Paracycling calendar, attracting International UCI points.

The event takes place on Saturday 11th October 2014, and takes in a road circuit starting in Wincham (see attached images of circuit).

The challenge for us as a club is to pitch in and help to run this event on the day. As with the Cheshire Classic Road Race, it's a great badge of honour for Weaver Valley Cycling Club.

We'll need help with:

Marshalling
Holders (at the start for the riders)
Timekeepers
Catering
Signing on stewards
..and general organising help!

If you can help, please do! If you've never helped before, and don't know what to do - just ask - there are always plenty of things to do, and whatever you can do will be most welcome.

Just put your hands up here, or email me ady@weavervalleycc.org.uk, paulwest@britishcycling.org.uk, woody@weavervalleycc.org.uk, alan@weavervalleycc.org.uk or any of the committee members, and we'll put your name down and get back to you with more details nearer the time. Meanwhile, a few more details are on the attachments.
