Fantastic blog Ady, of an excellent weekend. We had already booked at Skipton (with Anne O'Hare, some of you will remember) otherwise would have been good to be at Great Hammerton(?) too. We had a superb ride on Saturday, after watching the Tour go through Kettlewell. We rode up the climb of Cote du Cray (spotted by Greg) and Kidstones. Down to Wensleydale then back over an even higher col to Kettlewell and return to Skipton. On Sunday we headed to the moor just beyond the summit of the Cote de Blubberhouses with our Skipton friends, Pete & Linda. Then headed back to their house to watch it live on TV.

Having seen the TdF several times in France and the Alps I didn't expect Yorkshire to be as good, but the atmosphere was tremendous, the racing exciting, scenery stunning and the weather just great.

Respect to you Ady lugging all that gear. Talking of weekends away, 26 & 27 July looks good for off roading in the White Peak around Bakewell
