Another well run event in the beautiful Lake District on a pleasant spring day. Kev Campbell and I completed the course along with my friends from Newcastle, Tim and Sharon who competed as a relay team. No prizes this time, just the satisfaction of covering 37km with 1500m of ascent and descent on foot and on the bike. Kev and El had entered but couldn’t make it, which was a shame as I’m sure they would have really enjoyed it.
