Let's hope Geraint is given the opportunity to ride for himself and start capitalizing on all that latent talent but no doubt they will place all of their remaining eggs in one basket and Geraint will batter himself to death on the front for Richie Porte despite the fact that he has been well under par all year to date.
Update .... Geraint just battered himself to death to protect Richie Porte and now they are both ahead of Contador. Two years ago Chris Boardman said, "Geraint Thomas needs to decide if he going to continue to be a super domestique or if he is going to become a leader". Seems like he's happy to make good money as a super domestique. Shame as he is a better all rounder than Wiggins ever was and it would be great to see him take a risk and go for it, like Wiggo did a few years back when he was just part of Cav's lead out train.
If only Bradley Wiggins was there eh?!
