This Sunday you will get the once in a lifetime opportunity to see many of the greatest British cyclists of all time in a Grand Prix De Gentleman time trial at Marthall near Chelford. A Grand Priox de Gentleman is a 2-up time trial where the older rider sits behind the younger one for all but the last mile of the race. The race has been organized by Warrington road club as a tribute to the late great Johnny Helms who produced cartoons for cycling weekly for about 60 years. Johnny was a life long member of the Warrington RC.Go to the following link for a start sheet and a run down of the top riders in the vent.
