some of the wrinklies( actually 3) met at Hatchmere this morning at 10 ish - bit cold, like 1 degree - the intrepid 3 decided on a photo to prove they were there and were joined at the last minute by a mystery rider on a trike - he's a bit shy(not normally) let's just say spiderman dropped in!!
L to R - Richard, Jimmy & Dave with spiderman sneaking in at the back
Lou made a quick appearance to say he would see us at the marina.

Anyway we set off and kept to the main roads, with the slight hope that we would be the only 4 to arrive so there would be loads of food! Getting near Nantwich we came across Chris Slatter in the middle of fixing a puncture on his MTB. Just as we set off spiderman Jed announced his front tyre was going down, another stop and then off again. Part of the group stopped again near Reaseheath to pump up the tyre and so we arived at the marina in 2 small groups to find one other bike (Keith had braved the weather as well).
What a surprise when we went in to see a room full of WVCCs all having driven over, dressed casually and chatting. Soon after another intrepid trike rider Dennis arrived.
Everyone enjoyed a great and relaxing lunch, being able to catch up on all the news.

The ride home was almost the shortest possible, by then the fog was starting to threaten; Jimmy and I did about 40 miles and according to the Garmin the temperature was a constant 1 degree - great day out
