Thoughout the season the Manchester & District Ladies Cycling Association promotes a number of time trials on our local Cheshire courses. These are very sociable events with a great atmosphere and plenty of tea and cakes and chin wagging at the HQ afterwards. The entrants range from Squad level riders (Sarah Storey usually rides) to veteran ladies who have raced for years and simply ride for the fun of it these days.

Our club has an unusually high number of very fit ladies and it would be great if a few took part not only because it's fun and it keeps the ladies association alive and well, but also because they have a real chance of winning team awards in both individual events and season long competitions. So put them in your diary and get entering. The first one held on 27th April and is an invitation 10 mile time trial at Chelford and for this TT each lady nominates a male team mate and their combined individual times are added together. The fastest combined time wins the team prize plus there are individual prizes. Caroline has already entered and Connor is her team mate. Last year the race was won by Sarah & Barney Storey.
