anybody want a spin round the forest instead of the roads this weekend, so far looks like only me and jack C but anyone is welcome to come along not sure what time we're meeting yet but thinking we will meet in rudheath at broken cross pub to take in some tow paths and also the whitegate single track and then onto the forest. first up will be the zig zags up old pale and then off through the forest and some single track, be ware the zig zag's are very muddy!
Zig Zags are fine. Been up today with no problems. Could be a little tricky if you go down. Forest is very muddy in places. Nick said he's not seen it so bad.
Ye will take it careful 😛 was it muddy when you turn off the zigzags? And you coming Jules?
I did my own off road ride on Sunday as it was cold and icy. Got 3 hours riding in until I punctured on the hawthorn strewn towpath between Church Minshull and Clive Green. Closer inspection saw 4 thorns in the front and two in the back with one knackered pump, one spare inner and 3 patches (oops).
It was a nice day and Caroline was working so decided to walk home via Winsford Industrial Estate, Davenham, Northwich and home 2h 15mins later in Barnton. I've not had a nice walk on a crisp cold Winters day for ages so it was quite invigorating. Now I know why I hardly ever ride off road.......:roll:

I've only used it once, when I helped out a stranded fellow biker who'd forgotten his spare tube. Have to say it worked a treat. It would have sealed all 6 puctures with no hassle...
