I'm not going to the tour in a car.

I've decided that I'm going to spend a few days cycle touring and watching the 2 days in sunny/rainy/windy/snowy* Yorkshire.
That means I'll be cycling up there, camping for a few days and of course cycling home.
I'm going to do this loaded up as a self supported solo tour (I.e. Not a paid for organised thing), but if anyone wants to trip along for the ride, you're more than welcome.
I've already booked a site for a three nights (minimum stay cashing in type deal at the specially laid on campsite at Kidstones where I'll watch Stage 1 from Kidstones Bank) and will have an epic dash to get to a second viewing point south on Holme Moss (probably a very early morning 'night ride' to get to the climb), then, as pretty much all camp sites are booked, either ride home, or crash (bivvy in a hedge) till Monday a.m.!

Well I think it's a good idea. 🙂
