Does anyone have any recommendations on what spare kit I should be bringing? EG, tyres? Chains? Wheels??

I also take it that overnight stuff and return leg stuff can be put in the van?

By the way, helmet cam I recently bought for my snowboarding trip was a rip roaring success, so it will be making an appearance a week on saturday!

Cheers.

Kris.

hello Kris
Best to take spare tubes/tyres but put them in the top of your overnight bag so you can get at it if need be in the van. The plan is if you get a mechanical on route you jump in the van and repair it, theres usally WD40 and a track pump in the van for eveyones use but i'm not in the van this year so repairs you'll have to carry out yourself.

Having done this ride for near on 20 Years, the best thing is to take enough money for a taxi fare home.
