I posted this in the racing forum, but no-one's picked it up.
Does anyone know if and when the John Boote Memorial road race will be this year? I'm having to start registering for races in June, and really want to do this home race.
Any indication greatly appreciated!
At the January Committe meeting, it was confirmed that the date was currently 8th June, but may be subject to change.
The next comittee meeting is this Monday, so further information may be available after that
Not being a full member, this may not be raised at the meeting , but 8 June could be a bad date.
Its the weekend of the BTCC at oulton park, which caused chaos last year.
There is also another BC 2/3/4 race on the same day in the region.
Just checked the calendar and there is no other race in the region on the 22nd june. Could be the best weekend to get a full booking!
Kris, we know about the btcc and the other events, woody is talking to BC, by the way, you don't need tobe a full member to volunteer as an event organiser!
