A member of the club was in the Mills on Friday. During there visit they broke a glass dome covering the cakes. The person did not tell Anne and she doesn't know who they are.

I was doomed form the start of walking into the Mills, as I first slipped on the floor with my wet cleats, then was pulling my gloves off at the counter - when (and this may have been when it happened), knocked the cake stand - however, it didn't look broken, and indeed I had some Christmas cake from the very same cake stand. Thirdly, turning round with my brew, nearly dropped my helmet, and spilt some of my tea on the floor!!! Anne then had to mop this up (although I did offer).

All this time I was talking to Anne, so neither of us must have noticed, if indeed I was the culprit.

Worry not, I'll probably be in again this week, so I'll phone her and sort it out.

Real men don't eat cakes, they only eat every 4th day! then when they do feast, they eat raw meat and live furry animals!!!!

Then they go out and ride an AUDAX! 😆
