was it Dave's 24 or beating 4hrs for 100 miles, Lee's National and World Masters Gold, Kempy doing a clean sweep of all the domestic masters road race titles or was it Steve Malkin's consistent improvement in the Guardian Cup?
I'll start the ball rolling [and I was there to witness the impressive final] and say it was Lee's UCI Masters Gold.....
I'd like to put my chase of Tony Booth through Delamere Forest on the Sunday club run to take the sprint in the final few metres forward. It was epic.
Lee's performance was incredibly impressive. Pushing that gear around for 4 minutes consistently at that power output is nothing short of incredible.
Dave's face however, was one of the best pictures of pain I've seen on a Sunday morning! Pushing along the last lap with one bloodshot eye and a fierce grimace was very, very impressive. 🙂
No mention of Ady's epic trip to and from le Tour here?!
