Allo mate.

You said you were working on a club type route that would take in the delights of Mow Cop. Is it ready for public consumption yet?
The weather looks like it might be turning for the better soon, and I'd like to give it a try before the end of the month.

Would anyone else be interested? Particularly those who signed up for the Cheshire Cat sportive?

Cheers.

Kris.

I've mapped out a little route - I'll post it to Alan and see if it can be slotted in. The only missing component at the moment is a good cafe stop near Mow Cop.

Any ideas of a suitable cafe stop nearby anyone, maybe one that has been used before?

There's The Old School Tearooms at Cheddleton (need to phone ahead on a Sunday as space might be limited) or we used to go to the cafe at Hassall Green before it went upmarket and 'cycling unfriendly'. There also used to be a cafe in Alsager on the main street but I haven't taken a run there for years so you'd need to check it out. Finally there's a cafe on a golf course called the 19th hole or something like that but I think it's golfers only at the weekend and I can't off hand remember exactly where it was. If anymore pop into my head I'll let you know.

Ady!
Why not make the long run there this Sunday instead of Peak View, just edit this Sunday's peak view run mate, but leave Wheelock as the short run.The cafe in question Derek is correct with Congleton Garden Centre or Astbury Garden centre but a bit expensive.
