11 left this morning to visit the great little cafe at Loggerheads. We had a tough headwind on the way and the odd heavy downpour.
We followed the Llanberis route out and then took a turn at the lights at the old pub(don't know what the area is called 😕 ) Waiting there was Ewart who came to the cafe. Good to see him out on the bike again. Lunch was had at the cafe which, as always was well recieved. Chris Buckley was starving after no breakfast and 2 hours sleep 😆
The trip home was great with the wind on our backs which was more than welcome after the slog out!!! Everyone got home save, sound and all together. Just short of 85 miles in the end.
Here is my Garmin data http://connect.garmin.com/activity/192231829
great run today jules kept it together well and a great route cheers 🙂
I'm in a world of pain
We had headwind problems on the short run too. We did a short, direct route to Chester but a lengthier ride on the way home right down the river and full length of the cyclepath.
Kevin Campbell picked up the win in the blast through the forest.

Great blog Woody.
Great ride Al, looking forward to next week already 😀
Has anyone got a .gpx file of today's long run to Loggerheads?
Any chance you could send it to me? Email address john(DOT)keegan[/b]@homecall(DOT)co(DOT)uk
It would be greatly appreciated!
John
Not sure what happened with the email address (the DOTs were deliberate but the /b etc wasn't). I will try again:

If you follow Jules' link, you'll be able to select the 'send to device' option, and send it anywhere you like!
Cheers Ady but it looks like that only works if you have a Garmin to send it to. I want to upload it to SportsTracker.
Not to worry.

It just requires a logical storage device that it can be exported to. Anythng will do. A USB stick should work fine. It'll store the GPX file in a directory structure - Garmin/gpx/.
Anyhow, that aside, I've just downloaded it to a USB, and here it is uploaded for you.

great run yesterday, with the block headwind bringing added joy to the big climb of the day!
Faster pace on the way home, everyone did really well to stay together.
88 on the clock when I got home, with 3.5k ft of bumps along the way.
Cheers Jules!
Thanks for that Ady.
