Hi All,

Entries for the WVCC Hill Climb on SUnday 17th Oct 2010 have closed and we have 108 riders this year.

You can download a copy of the start sheet from

https://www.weavervalleycc.org.uk/downloads/WVCCHillClimb2010StartSheet.pdf

Hope to see lots of club members on the day

Cheers

Steve

Great to see so many Weaver Valley folk on the start list! Are you still looking for marshalls Steve?

Hi Woody,

Any helpers on the day would be more than welcome. I know Garry has arranged for marshalls on the course but any extra hand/eyes/legs are always welcome. If you can make it to the HQ for 9:30ish I'm certain Garry will find a role for you

Cheers

Steve

A few WVCC finishers captured whilst fulfilling my marshalling duties on the finish line. Didn't get all, especially at the time when the motorhome decided to park in front of Nick's camper on the finishing line(!)

Most determined 'finishing grimaces' go to Max and Dave I reckon.

Just seen the hill climb photos, very good, but could we have a rule that says, " Anyone with hairy un-shaved legs gets 10 minutes added to their times, like if a football club gets into problems is gets 10 points taken off for bad presentation, come on, all racing cyclists should have smooth legs? You might have something there. Maybe the UCI and RTTC haven't thought of this yet...

Oh dear(!) Did I press the shutter and miss? Did I delete when no number was seen? Were you just that quick across the line with Jules that even at 1/1250 sec, I didn't manage to capture your finish? (Delete as applicable).

😉
