For marshals already volunteered and for those who can on the men's RR, I plan to hold a meeting at the Club Room (Hartford social club) Monday 30th May 20:30 (one week before event) to discuss the arrangements of this race following the issues dueing the Ladies RR. Bassically I need 5 or 6 marshals to attend with their bikes on the day so we can ride one lap of the circuit 45-30mins before the start.Escorted by me in my vehicle the plan is to check the road for any debris ie carpet tacks etc then the marshals go to their marshalling points.Hope as many of you can help as possible so see you at club room our ring me before to volunteer your services.

I think this is a good idea. Have you considered inviting the residents so that they can let us know their concerns?
I'll be there, and will probably do a few laps before hand anyway to make up for the lack of club run!
