Great blog ady, I am surprised you had the energy to write it [FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]

Great blog from Ady on https://www.weavervalleycc.org.uk/blog-2/
with some nice photos...great to see one photo of two juniors, James and Jacob, riding so strongly with Kris and Carl in the lead group over the Sportsman...fabulous to have such young talent in the club.
They never missed a turn, pressed on and they both did really big turns all day on really difficult stretches. They made it look easy 🙂
I second all of the above comments.
I have to admit, I wasn't looking forward to it last week (the Sportsman always gives me nightmares!) and the slightest of excuses and I might have dropped out. As it turned out it was a great weekend, albeit a bit challenging in places!
Thanks again to Graham and Ann for all of their selfless work looking after us. Also to the Elaine, Andy and Karen for the photos, Ady for a great blog and everyone else for great company along the way.
It was good to see Andy Poole again and bad luck with that rear mech first thing on Sunday.
Also well done to Carol and Steve - first time and completed it.

A great weekend which could have been ruined by the selfish and stupid actions of one (non Weaver Valley) rider. A number of us witnessed this incident and I'll bring up at the next committee meeting, but don't want to discuss it any further on this public forum.
Nick is absolutely right about this - we could have all been caught up in a very nasty accident.
