Reading Time: 2 minutes

Well worth it if you haven’t had a go, full training given by a BC coach

Hope you can join us for the Weaver Valley club track session on Thursday 6 January 2022  8-10pm at the Manchester Velodrome.

As the velodrome no longer require a list of hire bikes beforehand please come along if you are able to for the session as usual.

Please bring the correct change for me.

The track will definitely be closed for refurbishment shortly after this, so this is the only session that we have booked following the previous October session that we thought might be our last before closure!

If you, or one of your party, haven’t ridden one of our club session before please read or pass on the advice below:

cheers

You’ll need to arrive for 7:30pm to give you time to pay, get your bike (unless you have your own), and your shoes (again, unless you have your own shoes with Keo cleats fitted).

Adults: £12 for club members, £15 for non-club members, £5 for juniors

Bike hire : £13.20 (over 60 or under 16 : £9.90)

Shoe hire (if you haven’t got a pair of Look Keo cleats): £5.60

Arrive in plenty of time to get changed, pay for your hire bike / shoes and try them on / sort out your bike etc . You pay me for the session so please bring the right change as I don’t have a till, then sign the coach’s register.

The coach is in charge of the session and will instruct you and the other riders while on the track.

You should wear cycling mitts, a helmet without a peak, shorts or bottoms which aren’t too flappy and two top layers.

On arrival tell the receptionist that you are attending the WVCC track session. If you are hiring a bike pay for it (and keep your receipt) and your hire shoes at reception, they take cards too. They will give you your shoes (try them on but don’t wear them until you are down in the track centre).  Hire bikes are down the ramp, to the left at the bottom of the stairs on the way to the track centre.  Please put them back there after the session.

Bring a bottle – there is a tap/water cooler in the track centre
