Dear Club Secretary
Please may I, and Tyne Valley CC’s Mike Hodgson,draw you and your members’ attention to the date of this year’s Tyne Valley Sportive being run on the day prior to the Tour of the Reservoir . The route has been extended since last year to make it just over the iconic 100 miles but is in the same territory as before. Starting and finishing in Blanchland and following a hilly course over Hexhamshire, Allendale, Alston, Teesdale, Chapel Fell and back through Weardale and Allenheads etc.
We are hoping for better weather than last year which still saw some phenomenal times set .
