A chilly but bright Sunday morning promised much and the day certainly delivered.

At the rugby club, bright eyed and bushy tailed were, Paul, Mark, Jules, another Paul, Colin, Geoff, Matt, one more Paul, Me and Dylan. Dylan was resplendent in a shiny new club jersey but he was a half an hour early as he was looking for the short run. Glad to see you back Dylan.

We went for a long ride through the forest, Tarvin, Holt and up a couple of hills on our way to the Llandegla Trout Farm. Geoff and Matt turned off separately en-route in order to get home early. When we got to the fishing hole we all ate and drank various things although none of us had fish.

The journey back took us through Loggerheads, Mold, Kinnerton, Chester, the forest and home.

It was a very relaxed day all around. Loads of chat in spite of Carol not being there. The spring weather was great and we stayed together and worked as a group pretty well.

A completely unremarkable day but all the more excellent for it. Just a fantastic day out on the bike. I got home with 101 miles covered, pleasantly sore legs and a knee that felt like it had been beaten with a sledgehammer.
