WVCC “Virtual” Club 10 TT – Round 7 results
Tonight’s seventh round of the Virtual Club 10 saw 12 entrants line up.
Tonight we had a guest rider, Stavros Avramidis, from Chester Tri Club. Stavros actually helped me set this all up as my “test pilot”. I’ve known him for a while and, give the amount of times I have ridden back from work with him, he would always insist we rode at Zone 2. His Zone 2 is my Zone 5 so I knew he would be quick.
There were some good results tonight for everyone and only one DNF as Paul Titch Longley suffered an “electrical” and crashed out at about 3 miles in when, as he describes it, “he was on for a great ride.”
Sam Taylor took 7 seconds off his PB chasing Stavros who was pushed all the way by Sam.
Adrian Japp and Tom Heaword both knocked 19 seconds off their PB’s.
Winner of the ladies event was Lynsey Astles with a time of 27:53 (and no interruptions!)
