Well, it’s nearly time to start time-trialling in our club 10s.
If you are a member and haven’t tried a time trial, why not give it a go?
You are up against the clock, and yourself, to see how fast you can cycle around an undulating course of 10 miles in length.
There is no pressure to achieve a certain time, no qualifying, just go out and challenge yourself.
If you like it, most weeks through until the middle ofAugust, we record the times, and award points to those who improve during the year.
The person who achieves the most points wins the Guardian Cup. Traditionally, new or inexperienced riders have more chance to win this. Set a time, improve on this personal best, and you’ll start to build up your points tally.
Your best 5 rides count for your Guardian Cup points, and there are 11 rounds to try.
Here are the dates, and all the information about the events are detailed in the calendar.
