Here is a picture of our junior ride enjoying the sunshine…

Three rides today – one longer one, one shorter one, and one for juniors and beginners – an excellent idea, and judging by the numbers at the British Royal Legion, one that is proving v. popular. Dave Fearon led this ride, Alan took the shorter ride to Nantwich Marina and Kev and I joined the longer ride to Prees, led by Chris Latter. We were joined by a small but well marked group including Martin, Lou, John C and Max and enjoyed a brisk ride out via Peckforton and Gallantry Bank – beautiful (but chilly) spring sunshine showing Cheshire off at its best. All v. uneventful until a pile up when Chris punctured and Lou and Martin went into the back of him – which must have looked fairly apocalyptic to the passing car driver – but all was well and they were back up quickly. Soon after Kev and I turned back home as we had a rugby match to watch that afternoon.
It would be good to hear how our ride finished and about the other two rides, if you want to let us know, post a comment on this blog.
