South Manchester Cycling Club have recommended that I drop you an e-mail to inform you of a charity evening that may be of interest to your members?
We have arranged for London 2012 Team GB Track Cyclists Matt Crampton (World Kieran Champion) and Craig MacLean (World Sprint Champion) to come to Beech Hall School in Macclesfield on Thursday 8th of March at 7.30pm to raise money for a rare form of teenage cancer.
The GB Cycling Team which won 34 medals at the 2008 Beijing Games making it Britain’s most successful Olympic and Paralympic sport. With London 2012 on the horizon, Team GB has a once in a lifetime opportunity to inspire mass participation in the sport.
We will explore what it takes to get to the top in British Cycling as we meet Matt and Craig face to face on the run up to London 2012 Olympics. They will give us an insight into their world exploring their gruelling training regimes, extreme diets, state of mind, the highs and lows and above all what motivates them.

There will be a Wattbike competition to find the fastest amateur rider on the night with a Cash Prize

How do I get tickets?
Step 1. Log onto www.charitygiving.co.uk/beechhallschool and place a donation online
stating your name, 3 tickets at £7.00 per head = £21.00 donation
Step 2. Send an email to ailsagordon@beechhallschool.org with your name and address and you will receive the tickets in the next 2 – 3 working days by post.
