After a fast blast around the forest with Andy B (now fully fit), Matt & Ed Hornby, Kev C and Jonti, it was off to Harthill for Derek and me to see the Schwalbe National 4x series. We rode through Primrose wood then down Tirley Garth, passed Beeston on the road and then through the Peckforton Gap to Burwardsley and up to the coarse at Harthill. Very good it is too if you are a 4x racer – which we aren’t, so we stopped and watched for a while as we sampled the tea and cakes. Exciting racing with loads of crashes.
