Well, having had a day off to join the Wednesday ride, [and a great ride it was too] we went down lanes all over the place ending up at Audlam, I have nothing but admiration for those who know obscure ways of getting from A to B. Anyway the reason for the post is to say there was a slight altercation with an excitable german shepard puppy, nothinf serious, the whole ride stopped whist the owner regained contol, with the exception of Gary Brown who was at the front, he was heard to shout 'DOG' at the top of his voice and sprint away from the scene. I haven't seen Gary move that fast since the finish of the millstone crit in 1985!
