As well as a cyclist, I am a keen snowboarder. Couple of reasons for this post:
1. I regularly go to chill factor. If anyone else is a boarder/Skier, and you want to pop along, PM me and we can arrange a session. I'm happy to pick you up, as long as you live nearby 🙂
2. I have put together a trip to Morzine, France from 5th - 12th feb next year. I have 5 spots left in a 16 bed chalet. Prices are excellent for those on a budget. If you are interested, PM me and I'll forward you details.
General question, when is the winter training ride? I really want to go in it, so here's hoping it doesn't clash!!

Would love to come to Morzine in Feb as Portes du Soleil is a great ski area and I've been there several times. However my family are going skiing 1st week in Jan. Don't know if you've been there before but if you like scarily steep and icy moguls try the Swiss wall on the ridge that drops over from Avoriaz to the Swiss side. It's also called La Chavanette and my kids talked me into going down it 3 years ago (never again!). I found out later that this is recognized as the most dangerous piste in Switzerland and about 10 people get killed on it every year, so you will enjoy it!
Talk to Graham Gregory about the Llanberis weekend. It's usually towards the end of February so you should be OK.
i wish i had seen this earlier. just booked to go to mayrhofen. never boarded in france and would love to go. might give the chill factor a go . post on here when you are next going. tim.
