Its a few years (about 20) since I did one. There used to be a "6 peaks" and a "Waterhouses" one when I lived near Stockport.
Do WV do one or are there any local ones worth doing ???

Cheers

Hi Karl,
I remember lots of wonderful/horrible pre season reliablility rides. I might be wrong but i think reliability rides have been 'superceded' by sportives.
Perhaps other people will tell me i'm wrong....

I agree, reliabilities have been superceded by Sportives, but also Audaxes that are much better value. You get a route sheet and certainly in spring there are several riders use them as training - some of the routes can be very hilly.

few hilly ones to tempt you:
Sat March 17th - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/12-177/
Sat March 17th - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/12-141/
these are based on Hathersage and organised by my son over in Sheffield

the following one is Sat 31 March and is based in the Long Mynd area:

Sun 29th April is the Ron Sant memorial ride organised by Derek heine:

the Audax calender is http://www.aukweb.net/events/ so have a look and either use some for training or just enjoy taking part throughout the year
