The guys who ran the Jodrell Bank Sportive back in the spring have decided to run another this July with 100k and 100 mile options available. As it's on a Saturday you could also still do the Sunday club run the next day too (so potentially a good 160/170 miles in the legs in one weekend should you wish). It had very good reviews from the Spring edition.

As it happened, I had independently planned to do that very route on the very same day, so I might see you out there:-)

I did it! not bad for an old fatty, I had a little tumble at 5 miles and a puncture a 20 mile, I then spent the next 80 on my own [literally] so to finish in 6:31 was all right... I was too knackered for the club run the next day though ...Jim Williams

Aaww, you're a mere slip of a lad. Well done, good effort, and be inspired by Dennis Milsom, who, at 83, romped along to a finish at around 1:01 at the Lyme RC 25 on Saturday!
