Jon

Experience of long hours in the saddle apply "Blue Unction" known in audax circles as the "spare arse".

No probs Woody.
Not sure Jon's backside is thanking me. 26 years since he last rode a fixie, Dave Fearon is now a hero to Jon 😉

Hi Guys,
I'm really sorry i missed you today but i've been forced by my uncompromising wife to spend 2 weeks in Tuscany. First day today and you'll all be glad it was me that braved it. Unlike the fine climate back home, we just had 101 degrees, crystal blue skies, no wind and smooth and car free roads. I forced myself out on my bike and soldiered on manfully for 3 hours today, will try and force myself to do some more as time goes on. Ah well, someone has to do it! See you soon. Mmmm, Chianti.

Long run report.

3 people, tim, Bruce and myself went to peakview. When we arrived, we had tea, tim had soup, and then we left and went home.

See you next week.

Kris.

Come on Kris, make an effort - how many sugars in the tea? Milk? What kind of soup?

Great road run today. Really enjoyed getting back out with the club. Thanks to those who helped with the puncture (2nd time in 3 club runs!). Time to get my bomb-proof Gatorskins fitted I think.

Notable events of the long run:

1. It is possible to big ring the dumbers.
2. Tim drinks tea without milk.
3. I am officially king of the road I grew up on (according to Strava).

Incase there is a similar uptake next week for the long run, I'm planning a backup run to the peaks again.
I am at one with the hills 😐
