Just a heads up, when the clocks go back it's time to have mudguards on for the Winter. Clocks go back on Sunday 27th so you have a month. If you haven't got any, head over to Hindey's for some crudcatchers which cost about £20.

Your not getting them to keep your backside dry Kris,, your getting them for the poor unfortunate soul who is trying [usually unsuccessfully] to stay on your wheel.. either that or go out on your own 😆

Usually do go out on my own, but I still use mudguards anyway. Not for the poor unfortunate soul trying to catch a free ride, but to keep my own backside dry 🙂

But everyone wins.

Forty years ago, there was a club rule - you don't get a club run point if you turn up without mudguards. Winter and summer. I think this rule should be re-instated.

Summer isn't too much of an issue, Autumn & Winter are definitely the worst, especially around now where rain takes ages to dry up and Summer dirt hasn't been washed away on those little farm lanes we pootle down.

I'm with Dennis on this one 1 point only if you arrive for Club Run in Autunm/Winter with no mudguards or a donation of a box of washing powder at the Club Dinner 😆

Sky have a thin blue line up their kit, so why don't we have a thick brown line up ours and that way nobody will notice if mudguards are forgotten.....simples. 😉
