After a day of sunshine yesterday, there was a good turn out at the legion, probably more in anticipation of more sunshine than expectation. Even Jack Campbell made a re-appearance (albeit brief).The short run headed off to Holt or the Ice cream farm, whilst we headed to Two Mills, via Bangor-on-Dee, 10 of us set off including Alan Kemp (complete with Chest infection), Jack & Kev Campbell, Jamie (on his first Long run), Josh, Dave Fearon on his Fixed, Ewart, Titch, and one other club member (sorry not sure of his name).We set off down through Whitegate, on the new tarmac, which was great in comparison to the previous surface. At Clay Lane, Dave announced he was doing his own thing and left us, at Eaton we lost our next rider as the club member with no name mentioned above left us.Unusually, Alan was sat in the pack on not leading the group; he could be heard struggling with his chest. The group was staying together nicely and the pace was nice and steady. At Beeston, the Campbells turned off, leaving 6 heading to Bickerton, Jamie was showing how strong he can ride with some good stints on the front, and Josh on his first ride out in about 4 weeks was also riding well.Onto Bangor on Dee and through Holt, there was no sign of the short run, I assume they decided on the ice cream farm. At Chester, the forecasted rain started to fall bang on time, at this point 6 became 5 as Al decided (quite rightly) the rain would not do his chest any good. We donned our Capes and carried on to the Mills, Ewart lead the group from Chester to 20 Yards before the Mills when Titch couldn’t resist being the first through the gate (shame on you titch ☺ ).The Café was very quite, we were soon fed and watered and back on the road, it took 10 mins or so to get warm again, I set the pace from the Mills to where Jamie and I left the others at Manly Mere.It was great group, that held together all the way and a good pace. I finished with 75 miles on the clock with an average of 18.1 Mph and 3200 ft of elevation Gain. Thanks to all the guys.

Cheers for that Woody. If my alterd Saddle height doesnt do the trick Ill go there for a Pro Fit

don't forget if you raise the saddle, you may have to move the saddle forward a few mm as well..
