Morning all.
If you fancy it, and if the weather is nice, I am happy to lead a club / training run to Policini café in Romiley this sunday. This is a run I am planning to do anyway, but if there are a few interested I am happy to take a group.
It will be a very hilly route, and a round trip of ~100 miles, hence the 9am set off. This will be a true test for whether you are fit for LLanberis, as the distance and elevation are very similar.
Just throwing this one out there...take it or leave it 🙂
Let me know, and I'll post a route and return gpx link.
Kris.
*Disclaimer - this will only go ahead if the weather is good. Winnats / snake pass are not ideal in poor weather.
One of the alternative routes you planned maybe better this time of year. The full ride you planned probably isn't the best for a club run in Jan!!
Yeah, I plotted a couple of alternatives. Ill be doing this on Sunday anyway.
Poor weather, ill take the group direct.
Good weather, ill be going the long way round and can meet you there for the return leg.
its in the calendar as blaze farm or peak view, should we not stick to whats on the calendar? Or it's pointless Alan spending his time one evening planning the cafe stops for the next couple of week's/month
Titch, I understand your sentiments - what you say is very reasonable and shows respect to Alan. I think Kristian is simply offering an alternative for those who feel up to a slightly more challenging route.
like I said, take it or leave it. I'm going anyway if the weather is OK.
I'll be at the legion as per calendar
Ye I will be there Jules haven't been to blaze in a wee while 🙂 and peak view is maybe a little too small
Kris that sounds a good one.will defo be joining you if the weathers good.post it up on saturday if its a go.
