I won't be out. Been driving around today and the back roads are bad. Got guys working in North Wales and they have had a nightmare of a day. With minus temps things aren't going to get much better 🙁

Fair call. Think I'll get out on my fixed on knobbly cross tyres tomorrow, then turbo (again) on Sunday if v. icy. 🙂

You're wasting your breath Derek - I've tried and failed to 'sell' the benefits over the years. Perhaps if our icey period was much longer, there'd be more interest shown but even then, I know for sure that some members would rather not cycle at all than be seen on a trike.

Can I make the suggestion of an off road ride? Shake off the dust and get your knobbly tyres out I'm not massively familiar with the forest yet but I know my way there down the whitegate way. I went out today off road and it was ok quite fast rolling cos the ground was quite firm so if anyone's interested blue bridge 10.00??

Main roads where fine, Weaverham, Acton Bridge, Norley Lane, Hatchmere, Frodsham, Overton Hill (bit of snow drifting across rd at very top, but easily passable) back to Frodsham, Helsby, passed Stanlow to the Mills.
Ann had only 6 customers all morning!
Saw Rob Booth and Sheila near the Mills as I left (on mountain bikes) back through Helsby,Frodsham, Sutton Weaver, Dutton, Cuddington to home all in all 60 miles at 15 mph ...and I never got dropped once!
Not taking any chances after coming off last weekend. Can't fall off a spin bike in the gym 🙂
