Great to see so many out today, including what I think is a record number of girlies - 8, and all strong riders too.

Great event (not race) and Caroline really enjoyed it even though she frequently says, "I don't do hills". Caroline also said thanks to Jim Duffy for towing the ladies back to the rapidly disappearing bunch on Penny's lane on the way back. I hasten to add that this was also not a race, so that's two races that weren't on the same day!

Sorry I turned off at Pexhill but had to get a long one in as the 12's getting very close.

That was indeed brilliant, great work Titch. I really enjoyed the ride (broken spokes aside) and learned a lot today. Really nice to get to know some more people too. Great write up too Eleanor, and many thanks to Graham and Alan for their work as well. 🙂 Just need to work on staying with the bunch on the way home now! (Definitely no more Magnums this summer*)

Thanks everyone, my dad informed me when I got home that graham got more than just a drafting tow up the hill.
Lets hope that next year we don't have to change climbs but a good call by graham to change

We had 5 ladies and 1 child on our 30 mile Breeze ride today from Marbury to Tatton, while in Eleanor's fantastic blog I read that the Weaver Valley CC had 8 women riders on a great day out! 😀

Plenty of opportunities for women of all levels to ride in a group here in Northwich! 😀
