We had a brilliant ride yesterday in the 3 Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales. The views from near the top of Whernside as the sun was setting were just awesome as it was such a clear day. That did of course mean it was a little chilly, pretty sure it stayed below freezing all day. All that and the 27mph decent on a Landrover track covered in virgin snow made this one of the most memorable rides this year for me.
Hope all the overnighters had a blast today, got the cars out, (getting to the place was a bit of a trial!) and home safely. No doubt there will be a full report, pics and a little video on the Bogblog soon.
Glad you enjoyed it - fat knobblies really do grip well in the snow. Today was just as good, the overnight snow didn't arrive. Full report http://wvccbogblog.blogspot.com/ and some video on youtube when I upload it. See you Saturday 4 Dec at Delamere
