Meet at the station cafe for 10am start. " hours or so on the excellent singletrack, lunch then a bit more for those inclined. See http://wvccbogblog.blogspot.com/ for more information and what else we've been up to.
Enjoyed a tail wind on the road to get to the cafe. Then enjoyed being 'challenged' by tracks that I'd never seen in Delamere. Impressive stuff. Top leading by Nick who has an astounding mental map of the superb single track. Certainly more varied stuff than I've ever ridden in the forest.
After a thoroughly knackering 10 mile ride, with an unceremonious over the handlebars get off (which Nick didn't get on camera), many other unskillful attacks at tricky sections, made me feel like I' d earned my beans on toast at the cafe, before battling the head wind home!
Very enjoyable day.

Yeah, thought I'd better make an effort(!) Haven't been to Llandegla for ages, so wouldn't mind a trip out to see what's new.
if you've not been there for ages then you're in for a treat - loads of new stuff with some unchartered areas that none of us have done i don't think. same old classic downhill runs, if fact, if jed comes in the quest may be we could re-create the early nineties classic 'cool runnings'!......i got some spare knobblies if you fancy it jed?
Glad you enjoyed it Adrian, some pics and a report on the bogblog http://wvccbogblog.blogspot.com/
