Yes Caroline and I went over it on Sunday. I can't believe that they have replaced the bridge with a brand new one that is wide enough to take passing cars but they have put in a ridiculously wide path on one side and brand new traffic lights, so it's no better than the old bridge as the road is still one car wide. No doubt the extra wide path is for cyclists but it's totally unnecessary and in fact a hazard as cyclists going towards Whitegate will have to cross over the road on both sides to use it. Complete waste of tax payers money and an ongoing waste of energy powering the lights on a quiet rural lane. 😥
